Goldring 1012GX

This hand-built cartridge uses the acclaimed Gyger II nude diamond stylus. A fine-line elliptical type with a 6 µm small radius it gives smooth, extended highs, low distortion and reproduces a highly detailed and dynamic sound. Advanced diamond tip polishing ensures excellent tracking ability and reduces record wear. Because it fills the record groove more completely due to its larger major radius, the Gyger II represents a major upgrade over normal elliptical stylus types.

Low Mass Pocan® Body
The 1000 series uses a strong one piece body which holds the fixed parts securely in place. Made from a special type of ultra-rigid, glass reinforced polyester called Pocan, the body can be tightly bolted to the head shell for maximum efficiency and optimum sound quality. The user replaceable stylus carrier slots tightly into the body with a locating pin preventing unwanted vibrations which would otherwise colour the sound. An integral mu-metal can keeps the generator parts shielded from hum-inducing stray magnetic fields. Because Pocan has a high strength-to-mass ratio, the overall mass of the G1000 series cartridges is kept below 6.5 g. Low mass and moderate compliance keep the natural arm/cartridge resonance within safe limits for easy matching to a wide range of tonearms.

High Efficiency Magnetic Circuit
Finely etched mu-metal is laminated to form the pole pieces around which are fitted two formerless coils of four thousand turns each. This unique design reduces mass and also makes for a very efficient magnetic circuit producing a higher than average output. This construction also reduces the loss at high frequencies inherent in conventional designs, making for a smooth and extended frequency response.

L3-C for Super10 Our top-of-the-line copper cable. Made with multi-strands of Teflon isolated mil-spec tin-plated copper and using high grade rice paper and a woven outer shell to cancel resonance and vibrations. Very well balanced, rich details and inner-details, highs are true to material and size (ie cymbals). Lows are dissolving and speedy. The image is as spacious as it is natural and only limited to the recording itself. Very good in capturing emotional communication whilst the dynamics are organic if not almost physical. This cable is quite sturdy but retains enough flexibility to ensure proper and easy handling. Use this cable if you want a slightly more relaxing sound without any smearing, open up textures and/or open up dynamics. Recommended with all fuses. Prepare for something unique In combination with the QSA Red and Red-Black fuse.

Active current compensation
The Super10 incorporates an active current compensation circuit, which corrects for the voltage drop in the output, PCB traces and the cables of the Super10. This reduces the voltage drop at the load when current needs to be delivered, resulting in a rock steady sound on any load. 

Foil output stage
The Super10 has a 230uF foil capacitor output stage, combining MKS and MKP capacitors for optimal operation and ultimate sound quality. Because no electrolytic capacitors are used, ESR is very low and Hf filtering very high. Result is a pitch-black background and ultimate speed delivery of voltage peaks over the full bandwidth. Very good for analog audio, but especially great for driving digital equipment.

Application
For use as a data and control cable in machinery, computer systems etc. as well as a signal cable for electronics. The high level of screening ensures a high degree of interference protection.
