DAC uses the PCM1792 from the TI Burr-Brown brand which is known for sound quality. The IV conversion circuit and headphone amplifier part adopts OPA2132.In addition, the output stage is used as direct output, and the power supply part is equipped with a large capacity electrolytic condenser.

 Enjoy your music the way you want with the versatile C47 Stereo Preamplifier. With a total of 12 inputs, you can connect most if not all of your music sources. It even plays many of the latest high resolution digital formats – including DSD files.

For analog audio, it includes 2 balanced and 3 unbalanced fully assignable inputs plus 1 Moving Coil and 1 Moving Magnet phono input for connecting a turntable. The digital inputs are comprised of 2 optical, 1 coaxial and 1 USB input. The optical and coax inputs will decode digital music at up to 24-bit/192kHz for high resolution audio playback. The C47 can also decode and play back high fidelity DSD files via the USB input, which accepts signals up to 32-bit/384kHz and supports DSD64, DSD128 and DSD256 along with DXD 352.8kHz and DXD 384kHz. To enjoy the high definition audio found on SACDs, you can connect the C47 to the MCT500 SACD/CD Transport via the MCT input to create a secure and custom DSD connection.

    All inputs are available all of the time on the C47 – even if certain inputs are assigned to certain devices, giving you the freedom to configure your system your way. The outputs have also been redesigned for easier use when bi-amping so that your highs or lows are not accidentally turned off. Bass and treble tone controls allow for some fine tuning of your audio sources. Headphone Crossfeed Director (HXD®) brings added dimension to your headphone listening, while Home Theater Pass Through permits seamless integration into your multi-channel home theater system.

C2700 2-Channel Vacuum Tube Preamplifier,

Following in a long line of revered McIntosh vacuum tube preamplifiers is the C2700 Tube Preamplifier. Using our well-established vacuum tube topology, the C2700 also features our advanced DA2 Digital Audio Module technology to combine cutting edge digital music capabilities with time tested vacuum tube performance.

A worthy successor to our popular DA1 Digital Audio Module, the DA2 features an expanded set of capabilities. The DA2 offers 7 digital inputs including all the same connections found on the DA1 (2 coaxial, 2 optical, 1 USB and 1 MCT) plus a new audio-only HDMI Audio Return Channel (ARC)1 connection. TVs with a compatible HDMI (ARC) output can be connected to the C2700 to enjoy your TV’s sound through your home audio system. Popular multi-channel audio formats from Dolby® and DTS® are supported and will be expertly converted to 2-channel audio for proper playback. The TV remote can control the power and volume of the C2700 when CEC communication is enabled in both the preamplifier and the TV. Besides these new HDMI (ARC) features found in the DA2, its USB input has increased DSD playback support up to DSD512 compared to the DSD256 limit of the DA1.

The DA2 is powered by a next generation, audiophile-grade, Quad Balanced, 8-channel, 32-bit Digital-to-Analog Converter (DAC) that has improvements in both dynamic range and total harmonic distortion compared to the DA1. The coax and optical inputs in the DA2 can decode digital music up to 24-bit/192kHz for playback of high resolution audio. Finally, the DA2 has a McIntosh exclusive MCT input that offers a secure DSD connection to any of our MCT series of SACD/CD Transports to deliver the best possible sound quality of the high definition audio from your SACDs.

McIntosh C2700 Vacuum Tube Preamplifier    
For analog music, the C2700 has 9 inputs comprised of 3 balanced connections, 4 unbalanced connections, along with 1 Moving Coil and 1 Moving Magnet phono inputs for connecting a turntable or two. With a total of 16 inputs, the C2700 has a virtually infinite number of inputs to connect all your music sources. Our dual chassis design keeps the analog and digital sections separate to prevent signal corruption. Outputs include 3 variable balanced and 3 variable unbalanced plus 1 fixed unbalanced connection.

Bass and treble tone controls are included and can be adjusted in 2dB increments. The ¼” headphone jack is powered by our High Drive Headphone Amplifier which can power almost any pair of headphones; Headphone Crossfeed Director (HXD®) is included and brings an added dimension to your personal listening session when activated. Home Theater Pass Through allows the C2700 to be seamlessly integrated into your home theater system. The C2800 Vacuum Tube Preamplifier is a masterpiece of audio passion and engineering precision. Crafted for discerning audiophiles and music enthusiasts alike, performance has been woven into the very fabric of this audio treasure. The C2800 has proudly earned the McIntosh name.

At the heart of the C2800 lies methodically designed vacuum tube circuitry. Leveraging the latest designs to all but eliminate noise and distortion, the C2800 reduces them to minuscule levels. Its four vacuum tubes, or valves, deliver a listening experience that transcends expectations.

INPUTS IN ABUNDANCE
With its 9 analog and 7 digital inputs (16 total inputs), the C2800 will become the nucleus of your home audio system. There are 3 balanced and 4 unbalanced analog inputs, plus 2 phono inputs that can be configured for either Moving Coil or Moving Magnet phono cartridges to connect your turntable(s). Both phono inputs feature adjustable Gain in 6dB steps from 40dB to 64dB as well as RIAA equalization.

Our DA2 Digital Audio Module houses the 7 digital inputs and is powered by an audiophile-grade Quad Balanced, 8-channel, 32-bit Digital-to-Analog Converter (DAC). The DA2 offers a variety of inputs, including an audio-only HDMI Audio Return Channel (ARC)1 input that will give your TV sound new life when played through your home stereo system. Multi-channel audio formats from Dolby® and DTS® will be expertly converted to two-channel audio for an enthralling listening experience.

The DA2 has 6 other digital inputs: 2 coaxial, 2 optical, 1 USB, and 1 MCT. The coax and optical inputs decode digital music up to 24-bit/192kHz for high resolution audio playback, while the USB input supports DSD512 and DXD 384kHz. And to get the best sound quality from the high definition audio on your SACD collection, the MCT input offers a secure, custom DSD connection when paired with our MCT series of SACD/CD Transports. The entire DA2 module is upgradeable and could be replaced by a future module should new digital technologies become available.

INNOVATIVE OUTPUTS FOR PERSONALIZED LISTENING
Offering advanced connection flexibility, there are 3 stereo sets of variable balanced and unbalanced outputs to connect the C2800 to your power amplifier(s). All sets of outputs can be active simultaneously, and each can send the audio signal from the source component to 3 separate audio systems.

Bi-amping a single speaker system can be accomplished using the Main output and Output 1 and their built-in adjustable High Pass and Low Pass filters. In this configuration, the High Pass outputs could be connected to a vacuum tube amplifier, and the Low Pass outputs could be connected to a solid-state amplifier. Then the adjustable crossover would let you optimize the performance of your amplifiers to your speaker’s specifications and to your listening preferences. Output 1 offers trim level control, which allows two different amplifiers to be volume balanced when bi-amping.

Additionally, Output 2 can be configured as either mono or stereo to allow it to send audio signal to a stereo audio system in another room, to a single mono subwoofer, or to 2 separate stereo subwoofers.2

RETURN OF THE PROCESSOR LOOP

The C2800 features the return of the Processor Loop, something not available on the last few generations of McIntosh preamplifiers. The Processor Loop allows you to insert an external signal processor (such as our MQ112 Environmental Equalizer or MEN220 Room Correction System), dynamic range expanders, or other devices without having to place it between the preamplifier and power amplifier(s). This is usually more convenient and can allow for better performance.

The Processor Loop is also the perfect place to connect an analog tape recorder, a high-end cassette deck, or a 3-head reel deck that allows you to record from a source component and hear the recording just seconds later so you can monitor your recordings.

NETWORK CONNECTED FOR CONTROL AND UPDATES
In addition to using the included remote control or the front panel controls, the C2800 can be connected to your network which will unlock control options offered through our complimentary Connect app (scheduled to be available April 2024). Designed for both Android and Apple devices, the Connect app can be used to control key functions of the C2800 including Volume control as well as Input and Output selection. control circuitry bypass setting for each input.

The new McIntosh C45 Audio Control Center offers a highly refined combination of useful operating features with totally transparent electronic performance. At any time expand the enjoyment and functionality of the Audio Control Center with the addition of the optional TM1 AM/FM Tuner Module installed inside the C45. Combine a C45 with
a McIntosh Power Amplifier and you will enjoy a system of unparalleled performance.

• Balanced Inputs and Outputs One pair of Balanced high level Inputs and a six channel Balanced Output are provided.
• Precision Tracking Variable Rate Volume Control Volume levels are controlled by a new Multi-Stage Precision Digitally Controlled Attenuator System with a tracking accuracy of 0.1dB. Levels change in 214 individual 0.5dB steps. The Variable Rate Volume Control Circuitry provides an ideal rate of change with control rotation.
• Tone Control with Assignable Bypass The Bass and Treble Control Circuit Elements can be removed from the Signal Path of any selected input.
• Alphanumeric Fluorescent Display The Multifunction Front Panel Display indicates the Source Selection and Volume Levels. The Setup Mode Selections and Adjustments are also displayed. The display intensity is fully adjustable.
• Electromagnetic Input Switching with Level Trim Adjustment and Title Reassignment
Digital Logic integrated circuits drive Electromagnetic Switches on all Inputs and operating functions for reliable, noiseless, distortion free switching. All eight Inputs on the C45 can be matched in level, so that there are no abrupt changes in volume levels between the different Inputs. Any of the eight Inputs can have their Input Title reassigned to match the sources in the system.
• Power Control Output and Trigger Assignment A Power Control connection for convenient Turn-On of McIntosh Power Amplifiers, Source Components and Accessories is included. Two of the Power Control Outputs may be assigned to activate when a given Input is selected.
• Multichannel Inputs There are two six channel Inputs that are assignable for
sources such as DVD-Audio Player, Super Audio CD Player and Satellite Receivers.
• Precision Parts Only the finest precision 1% tolerance resistors are used throughout.
• Low Distortion Distortion levels of all types are less than 0.002%. Music is amplified with total transparency and accuracy.
• Moving Magnet Phono Input There is a Precision Phono Preamplifier for Moving  magnet Cartridges.
• Remote Control The C45 includes a Remote Control that allows remote operation
of the Front Panel Controls and Push-buttons.

A total of 10 inputs include 2 balanced and 6 unbalanced along with Moving Coil and Moving Magnet phono input sections with selectable resistance and capacitive loading so every phono cartridge and turntable can be perfectly matched to produce the best sound. Bass and Treble tone controls with bypass feature allow you to listen to your favorite songs at your preferred tonal balance.
