Furutech’s Two-Stage Cryogenic and Demagnetization Alpha Process
Using cutting-edge technology and materials, Furutech developed a low-temperature two-stage process that significantly improves every facet of audio and video performance. The treatment begins during the manufacturing process with a deep, conditioning cryogenic freeze of all metal parts. Using high-end refrigerants — liquid N2 or He — Furutech achieves temperatures of between -196 to -250℃. The treated parts change their molecular structure at these extremes of temperature relieving internal stress. The molecules bond together more tightly, and the overall structure becomes more stable. This improves electrical conductivity and so power and signal transfer. Step two in the Alpha Process exposes these same parts to the patented Ring Demagnetization treatment. Active current compensation
The Super10 incorporates an active current compensation circuit, which corrects for the voltage drop in the output, PCB traces and the cables of the Super10. This reduces the voltage drop at the load when current needs to be delivered, resulting in a rock steady sound on any load. 

Foil output stage
The Super10 has a 230uF foil capacitor output stage, combining MKS and MKP capacitors for optimal operation and ultimate sound quality. Because no electrolytic capacitors are used, ESR is very low and Hf filtering very high. Result is a pitch-black background and ultimate speed delivery of voltage peaks over the full bandwidth. Very good for analog audio, but especially great for driving digital equipment.

Easy handling
Insert the record into the barrels in the opening and press the START button. After approx. 3 minutes an acoustic signal rings out – both sides of the LP are now clean, and the record can be removed!

Operational principles
In ultrasonic cleaning, a membrane makes the cleaning liquid oscillate very strongly. This creates a defined blistering of the liquid. After a short time, the bubbles implode, releasing an extremely large amount of energy – the dirt on the surface and in the grooves is literally «blasted off». At the same time, both sides of the record are cleaned by two counter-rotating microfiber barrels. These barrels, driven by counter-rotating wheels, remove the coarse dirt and move it into the cleaning liquid -out of the surface of the record.

Filtering the cleaning liquid
At start-up, the cleaning liquid is pumped into the washing chamber. After each cleaning cycle, the cleaning liquid is returned to the storage tank through a filter that collects the dirt.

Drying process
At the end of the cleaning program, the drying process takes place automatically. During this process, the record is gently air-dried by a fan and then – for removal – slightly little.
